A LETTER FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Parents,

Thank you for considering your scholar for inclusion in the 2022-2023 AAJP Triton Sports programs. We are very excited to offer parents and students an expanded slate of sports offerings and experiences throughout the school year.

Since 2018, parents have been the driving force behind athletic programs at Athlos Academy of Jefferson Parish. We appreciate our parents to a degree beyond what can be expressed in words and know that nothing happens without your support. Parents rearrange their schedules, budgets, and jobs and commit many other sacrifices to ensure our students have an opportunity to play in sports. Please understand that your parental labor does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to be partners with you in your student’s journey in sport.

There is no us without you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Tiny Tritons & Demi-Tritons Pilot Program

Based on tremendous feedback from teachers, parents, and our most important stakeholders, “the littles,” we will be piloting a Tiny Tritons and Demi-Tritons Sports program for six weeks in the Fall of 2022. Our Tiny Tritons are students in Kindergarten, First, and Second grade. The Demi-Tritons consist of students in third, fourth, and fifth grade. It is important to us that our smallest students are included in sports programs school-wide. Future considerations for Tiny Tritons and Demi-Tritons sports expansions will depend wholly on registration numbers and earnest participation rates.

Uniforms

The Triton Sports registration fee goes towards the cost of each student will receive a dry-fit t-shirt tailored to their sport and custom Triton Sports paraphernalia to use during sports and at school. The high-quality t-shirt also doubles as a school uniform! We are excited to inform you that limited edition parent Triton Sports dry-fit t-shirts will be available for purchase beginning October 1st. Parents will also be able to purchase additional shirts for students in limited Triton Sports colors beginning on October 1st. There will be no shipping costs and t-shirts will be delivered to your student’s homeroom the day after purchase. We will also have Triton Sports pop-up shops with various limited-edition merchandise available for purchase during select sporting events.
